Summer procrastination is really taking its toll on me lately. The heat in California has been such a killer and sometimes it just corners me where I just have to give in and take naps (many naps). While stressless, I feel too unproductive. Also being jobless doesn’t help either…
But that doesn’t stop the influx of awesome waves of music keeping me upbeat and happy. Frankmusik’s Confusion Girl is such a poppy shmorgasborg of twinkly sounds and 80s synth. This electropop singer is certainly listenable to the mainstream, and I imagine he’ll find success somehow in the US. I admit, I’ve heard of Frankmusik before, but never really gave him a chance until now, and I’m glad I did. Confusion Girl sounds almost boy-bandish, but without lame cheese that makes me want to vomit.
